About me
¡Hola! I'm an environmental microbiologist who aims to understand the ecology and evolution of aquatic prokaryotes and their responses to environmental change. To answer these questions, I use environmental metagenomics, big data and other complementary tools to provide a comprehensive and global understanding. Here you can find a bit about my journey:
- Postdoctoral Researcher in the research group of Rafael Laso Pérez at the National Museum of Natural Sciences (MNCN-CSIC) in Madrid (Spain). 2025 - Date.
- PhD Candidate in the research group of Sarahi L. Garcia at the Stockholm University in Stockholm (Sweden). 2020 - 2024.
- Internship in the Molecular Ecology Group with researcher Diego Fontaneto at the Istituto di Ricerca sulle Acque in Verbania (Italy). 2019.
- Msc. in Ecology and Techniques for the Conservation of Biodiversity at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos in Madrid (Spain). 2018 - 2019.
- BSc. in Biology at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in Madrid (Spain). 2014-2018.
